No, Black had The Telegraph, The Spectator, Jerusalem Post and Canadian newspaper(s). The Grauniad [ preferred misspelling among Private Eye readers ]was owned by the Scott Trust. It is now held by a company who use the Autotrader to subsidise the Graun [ shorter preferred etc. ]. The Graun lost some GBP39 million. The online verse made GBP1 million.
