Socioeconomic refers to a combination of social and economic factors.

There are various related terms, such as "social economics", "economic sociology", and "socioeconomics", referring to multidisciplinary studies.

Another related term is "socioeconomic status", a very popular and politically correct explanation for various phenomena, related to Marxist and other leftist views regarding the importance of socioeconomic factors.
