Shūsuke Nomura 14 February 1935 – 20 October 1993) was a Japanese nationalist. He called for dismantling Japan's corporate empire and ending what he and his followers described as the American cultural and political domination of postwar Japan. He was imprisoned several times. In 1993, after his party had been mocked, he committed ritual suicide in the offices of the liberal Asahi newspaper.[1]
