Julius and Ethel Rosenberg
(Redirected from Rosenberg spy trial)
Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were two Jewish American Communist spies, convicted and executed in 1953. For decades, their guilt were questioned, for reasons such as supposed "McCarthyism" and anti-Semitism. Recent available Soviet documents and other evidence have confirmed their guilt. Despite this, there are continued attempts to exonerate them, especially Ethel Rosenberg, and/or to depict the sentences as to harsh.
