News Research Service Inc. was founded by the Los Angeles Jewish Community Committee in 1939.[1] It acted as an "anti-Nazi" news reporting agency on nationalist activities in southern California. Their offices were located at 727 W. Seventh Street, Los Angeles, California. Their News Letter was edited by Joseph Roos. In addition to publishing the News Letter the group would funnel their reports to Naval Intelligence officers and the FBI.[2]
