National Republic
National Republic formerly the National Republican was a nationalist anti-radical magazine published by the National Republic Publishing Co. in Washington, D.C. The publication was subtitled a "magazine of fundamental Americanism". It began publishing in March 1905 and lasted until March 1960. In March 1925 the magazine was published under the title National Republic. The magazine was an illustrated monthly and focused on political affairs in the United States involving national security and communist activities.
In 1960 when it ceased publication the magazine has a circulation around 20,000. One of the publishers was Walter S. Steele.
