Middlesex

Middlesex is one of the ancient Home Counties bordering the City of London, which encompassed inner parishes such as Westminster, Mayfair, Chelsea, Kensington, and Marylebone, as well as a great many outlying parishes surrounding the city. The original Middlesex County Hall and administration building was opposite Westminster Abbey and is today the Supreme Court.
