Human Rights is a mythical political concept first laid down as we know them today by the French Revolution. To a minor extent they were elaborated upon in Thomas Paine's book The Rights of Man (1791). Contrary to some arguments, today's Human Rights have no basis in natural rights[1] or in natural law.
