Heptarchy
The Heptarchy is a collective name for the traditional seven kingdoms of Anglo-Saxon England, usually enumerated as: East Anglia, Essex, Kent, Mercia, Northumbria, Sussex, and Wessex. The term arises from the Greek words for "seven" and "rule."
