Front National (Afrikaans: Front Nasionaal, FN) was a South African white nationalist political party formed in late 2013 as a successor to the Federale Vryheidsparty. The party promotes secession (white separatism) and Afrikaner self-determination.

History

The headquarters are in Pretoria, Gauteng. The student wing is the Front National Student Movement / Front Nasionaal Studente Beweging and the youth wing is the Front Nationaal Jeug / Front National Youth. The official colours are red, white and blue, the slogan is "Op die Front vir die Afrikaner" ("On the Front for the Afrikaner").

Front National strikes no distinction between South African English speakers and the Afrikaans speaking population in South Africa within the White South African community. Ethnic German Johannes "Hannes" Gerhardus Engelbrecht is their leader. The party contested the 2014 general election in the national ballot and the provincial ballot for Gauteng. The party received 7,144 votes in the 2019 election.
