The Fort Smith sedition trial was a 1988 trial of fourteen individuals accused of a conspiracy to overthrow the United States Federal Government and conspiring to assassinate federal officials. They were all acquitted.

The prosecution relied heavily on allegations made by Frazier Glenn Miller Jr. and The Covenant, The Sword, and the Arm of the Lord leader Jim Ellison. The defense argued that Miller and Ellison had motive to lie about the alleged conspiracy in order to receive reduced prison sentences on other charges and also made other criticisms of their reliability.

Despite the acquittals, leftist Wikipedia describes at least some of the allegations as if they were proven truths.
