Fidél Pálffy (6 May 1895 - 2 March 1946) was a Hungarian nobleman, who was a major supporter of National Socialism in Hungary. In 1933, he founded the Hungarian National Socialist Party and tried to garnish support, but failed and turned to the German Reich for support in hoping to launch a German backed National Socialists Party. After WWII, he was hung by the communists for "treason". For many, he was a hero.
