Donald McDaniel

Dr. Donald J. McDaniel a dentist from Chicago was indicted for sedition during World War II but did not stand trial. McDaniel was an ex-marine of World War I. He was indicted because he had distributed three cartoons created by cartoon artist Otto Brennemann critical of FDR’s foreign policy. The cartoons were titled “History Repeats”, “The Answer to the Betrayal,” and “ America on the March.”[1]
