Dixie Klans, Knights of the Ku Klux Klan
Dixie Klans, Knights of the Ku Klux Klan was founded in October 1957 by Imperial Wizard Jack William Brown of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Brown was previously associated with U.S. Klans, Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. A 1964 FBI assessment of the group listed it as the eighth largest Klan in America with 57 members and two klaverns, one each in Tennessee and Virginia.[1] By 1966 the Klan had reported grew to 150 members.
Harry Leon Brown assisted his brother in the leadership of the Dixie Klans.
