Oliver Cromwell

Oliver Cromwell (25 April 1599 – 3 September 1658) was a participant in the English Civil War who became the ruler ("Lord Protector") of the British Isles. One notable aspect of his regime was allowing Jews back in 1656, after being expelled in 1290.
