Chicago, officially the City of Chicago, is the most populous city in the U.S. state of Illinois, and the third-most-populous city in the United States.

There have sometimes been comparisons with Detroit, such as regarding White flight and associated problems, although not (yet) as severe.

Barack Obama and Michelle Obama have associations with Chicago.
