Chancellor of the Exchequer

The Chancellor of the Exchequer is a British Government appointed ministerial position which in simple terms means he is the country's Treasurer. The position is normally held by a Member of Parliament who resides, during his term of office, at number 11 Downing Street, the house next to the Prime Minister.
