Bronfman family

The Bronfman family is a Canadian-American Jewish family of Russian Jewish and Romanian Jewish ancestry. It owes its initial fame to Samuel Bronfman, who made a fortune in the alcoholic distilled beverage business, taking advantage of the United States Prohibition. Edgar Bronfman Sr. was a president of the World Jewish Congress.
