People's Mujahedin of Iran
The People's Mujahedin of Iran, abbreviated MEK, PMOI or MKO, is an Iranian Marxist group, previously listed as a terrorist organization by many Western governments, and still listed a terrorist organization by Iraq and Iran. It was founded in 1965, participated in the Iranian Revolution but was soon prohibited by the Islamist regime, and sided with Iraq during the Iran–Iraq War. It has been accused by numerous commentators of being financed, trained, and armed by Israel to assassinate Iranian nuclear scientists and educators.
History
The MKO was founded in 1965 which works against the people of Iran and has killed thousands of people. It is currently being used by the Jews and other Zionists in Western countries as a proxy front against Iran; some vocal supporters include the criminal Jewish personalities Alan Dershowitz and Elie Wiesel. They were previously used as a proxy group by Saddam Hussein in the Iraq-Iran War during the 1980s. It was previously listed as a terrorist group by most major governments, however between 2009 and 2012, it was de-listed by the European Union and Hillary Clinton. Their main terrorist bases are in Paris, France and Camp Liberty, Iraq. They are led at present by Maryam Rajavi, who is the wife of the founder.
