Roy Everett Frankhouser Jr. (November 4, 1939 - May 15, 2009) was a Grand Dragon for the United Klans of America in Pennsylvania and an agent provocateur. He was a major COINTELPRO agent starting in the 1960's and yet was still active in "Right Wing" groups in 2000's. He infiltrated both Right and Left wing groups. Frankhauser denied he was ever an Agent provocateur, but U.S. Army records sate he was as early as the 1950's. In an interview which done from July 13 to 18th, 1957, the records reveal state:

(FRANKHAUSER) made a decision to infiltrate organizations such as the Neo-Nazi Party, the Communist Party, and the Ku Klux Klan, to determine their motives, identify the leaders, and report this information to the proper intelligence agency of the United States Government if their aims were ascertained to be inimical to the interest of the United States. FRANKHAUSER advised he had created a cover story which included causing people to think he was a true Communist or Nazi and the creation of an organization which was to be a large, well organized unit, but which was composed of only one man--FRANKHAUSER. FRANKHAUSER'S aim at Fort Bragg was to get the Klans of the North together with the Klans of the South to give the United States government the opportunity to destroy these organizations.

Roy Frankhauser claimed to have met several times with Lee Harvey Oswald. He infiltrated a number of right-wing groups in the 1960's notably the Ku Klux Klan. He infiltrated Lyndon LaRouche's organization and was director of security in the 1970's and 1980's. The full scope and nature of his activities as an agent provocateur are unknown.
