Battle of the Plains of Abraham

The Battle of the Plains of Abraham, also known as the Battle of Quebec was a major 1759 battle and British victory in the Seven Years' War. With a year, French Canada had capitulated and with the end of hostilities in 1763, France surrendered virtually all of its colonial possessions in North America.
