United States Armed Forces

The United States Armed Forces are the military forces of the United States of America. It consists of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force and Coast Guard.

As of 2018, the U.S. military accounts for roughly 36 percent of the world's defense expenditures. The United States spends more on their defense budget than China, Saudi Arabia, Russia, the United Kingdom, India, France, and Japan combined.

There are around 800 U.S. military bases in foreign countries.
