The Young Turks was a coalition of various groups that led a revolutionary movement against the authoritarian Ottoman sultan regime, leading to the establishment of a more formally democratic government. As a ruling group, they promoted modernization and Turkish nationalism. With the Ottoman Empire becoming one of the losers in the First World War, they resigned from power shortly before the end of the war.

They may be most known for the Armenian Genocide, with various less politically correct aspects, as discussed in the article on this topic.

The phrase "Young Turks" is also used more generally for young people who agitate for political or other reform.
