Revisionism

Historical revisionism refers to the reviewing of accepted historical accounts, taking in consideration suppressed facts from the past or newly discovered evidence. The term is especially used to describe revision of traditional historical accounts of what happened in Europe in the days of National Socialist Germany, including accounts of the so-called Holocaust. Holocaust revisionism is restricted by law in many European countries.
