Guillaume Faye (born on November 7, 1949) is a French journalist and a former theorist of the Nouvelle Droite.

Faye is a graduate of the Institute of Political Studies of Paris and holder of a doctorate in Political Sciences. He was one of the principal theorists of the Nouvelle Droite during the years 1970-1980, within the framework of the think tank GRECE together with Alain de Benoist. Since 1998 he has been a controversial figure of the so-called identitarian movement.

At the international level, Faye has participated in the bi-annual conference of the group American Renaissance on March 3, 2006. Faye has also appeared in Moscow on June 8-9 the same year, at the international Conference on the Future of the White World, where he took part in the founding of the Council of the People of European origin.

Alain de Benoist has strongly criticized his former collaborator and denounced his "extremism." Faye has also been polemicized by the National-Revolutionary movement in France, claiming his stance against Islam in Europe has, in effect, lead to a "pro-Zionist attitude." Faye clarified his position in 2007 with the highly controversial book La nouvelle question juive (English: The New Jewish Question).
