Father Edward Lodge Curran Phd. (March 23, 1898 - February 14, 1974) was a Brooklyn priest known as the "Father Coughlin of the East" He was president of the International Catholic Truth Society and founder of the National Committee for the Preservation of Americanism. He wrote a column called "By The Way" in The Gaelic American.

Edward Lodge Curran was ordained a priest in 1922. He became a professor at Cathedral College in Brooklyn until 1932. In 1933 he became a parish priest, first at St. Stephen’s and later at St. Joseph’s in Brooklyn.
