Victory in Europe Day (VE Day) is a remembrance day on 8 or 9 May, marking the formal acceptance in 1945 by the Allies of World War II of National Socialist Germany's unconditional surrender of its armed forces.

There is also a Victory over Japan Day.

Furthermore, there is also the Time of Remembrance and Reconciliation for Those Who Lost Their Lives during the Second World War, also on May 8 and May 9, an annual international day of remembrance for the victims of World War II.

However, none of these memorial days are anywhere near as important as the Holocaust Memorial Days, which are for claimed Holocaust victims only, ignoring the other victims of the war.
