Style guide

Please see Metapedia:Style guide.

Suitable topics

Not all topics are suitable for Metapedia. Please see Metapedia:Content guidelines.

Wikipedia articles

  • To simply copy-and-paste Wikipedia articles to Metapedia is in general discouraged. If the topic is suitable for Metapedia, then the Wikipedia article is often biased and needs editing.
  • If you do import text from Wikipedia, please add wikipedia at the end of the article you are editing. Add wikipedia PC to the top of the article if you think that part of its content is biased and should be rewritten. This should preferably by done immediately by the person importing the text.

  • Please add categories to each new page using . Biographical articles, for example, often need categories regarding the topic they deal with, their nationality and their birth year and death year. For instance, for a Dutch philologer born in 1624 and deceased in 1699 add: . Even a bad category is better than no category (a bad one can be modified at any time later).
  • In Wikipedia articles there are sometimes sadly dozens of categories added, which Metapedia does not have, and which are often not helpful in Metapedia. Please think about whether a category is useful, and when it is, look which categories Metapedia does have, and when Metapedia does not have a useful category you want to use, you can create it and categorize the category itself. A simple way is clicking on unknown (red tinted) categories at the end of your articles you think to be expedient and to add them.

  • Do not import copyrighted texts from other sites whose copyright you do not hold and avoid uploading copyrighted images.

  • When uploading images, write a short description in the summary box; typically it is recommendable to describe the sources, for example including an entitled link or bibliographical information. You can also add an image copyright code. Such as image for Metapedia image (no copyright information) and PD image for Public domain image. See Help for more information.

I have removed the protection. Please feel free to correct the article, User:Vir did some problematic modifications. Hu1 22:47, 5 December 2012 (CET)

New Administrator

I have made you an Administrator of English Metapedia. Keep up the good work. - NatAll75 13:29, 14 April 2013 (CEST)

That's good. I hope I can be of service. Mikemikev 16:00, 14 April 2013 (CEST)

It may take a couple of hours to pass before Crusader432 will stay unblocked. - NatAll75 04:23, 12 May 2013 (CEST)

Ok. I will unblock later. Mikemikev 04:24, 12 May 2013 (CEST)

Sometimes, when we edit new users' talk page, welcome template gets damaged. This happened currently after your edit. Hu1 10:42, 15 May 2013 (CEST)

Oops, I will watch for that in future. Mikemikev 15:18, 15 May 2013 (CEST)

What do you mean "Please add to "significance" section and source accurately"?

? A Wyatt Man 14:41, 3 July 2013 (CEST)

Hey. I was sorry to remove this. You do a lot of good work here. But I am not sure it fits there. The section on "significance" treats the real world effects of IQ differences. It is better to put these ideas there. Also some of your writing seemed speculative and not backed up by reliable sources. It is quite easy to find material on the effects of IQ differences. Please only add factual content. Best. Mikemikev 15:21, 3 July 2013 (CEST)
You blanked the entire thing. And you removed the picture even which was in the article elsewhere that I moved to that section. Human behavior related to intelligence and race is an important subject. You act like those Zionists on Wikipedia who just delete everthing, rather than working on it. A Wyatt Man 18:49, 3 July 2013 (CEST)
If you checked my contributions you would see I removed one section (yours) and added many. So please do not slander me. The behaviors you list are in many cases uncorrelated with IQ, the article's subject. Please start a "Race and Behavior" article. Writing "Blacks behave worse than chimps" (paraphrasing) just makes us look like idiots. Mikemikev 02:10, 4 July 2013 (CEST)

Hi. I notice your talk page is locked. I would like to discuss with you if possible. Mikemikev 12:58, 5 December 2013 (CET)

It's not my place to unlock his talk page and I've told him about this a long time ago. But congrats, you finally got him to unlock it. A Wyatt Man 13:10, 5 December 2013 (CET)

Vandalism on your userpage

I took a peek at what it was and one of the names was "Junius Thaddeus". Hmm vaguely resembles an ED user, I think a sysop there. I googled your name and the second result was a new ED article put up at the end of November, and he did a lot of work on it. Sigh... Though the worst thing about it all is ED has no article on Barbara Spectre at all which is a big internet phenomenon (no mention of her name at all), with its parody Antiracist Hitler (which I searched their search box and found no links to). They left out The Mantra which posting it all over is a common internet phenomenon too. A Wyatt Man 13:10, 5 December 2013 (CET)

Yup. Some people would be frightened by that but actually I have always been upfront with my real identity and just find it a bit silly. Junius Thaddeus is Michael Suarez from New York, not a Jew AFAIK, just a childish troll. It's no bother. Mikemikev 13:22, 5 December 2013 (CET)

I'm not on rationalwiki or Encyclopedia Dramatica and have no interest in you or Faintsmile1992, therefore I don't know why you are creating threads about me on other sites. If someone is pretending to be me, then ignore them. Our debate on population genetics was settled, and I've left Metapedia having renounced my views (I requested for my ban, but oddly I was unblocked, but you or another can perm block me now). I don't want to waste any more time with this. The faheem account was hacked at Egyptsearch. I've left this site and all others, but there seem to be a whole crowd of people elsewhere now reporting our behavior and stirring things up. I have no intention or involvement in this and am trying to move on. Atlantid 01:29, 6 December 2013 (CET)

Yes Mike I also suffer from schizophrenia. I am now bettering my health, renouncing my former views and association with Metapedia, this is my final message here. I've blocked my own account and changed the pass,so i won't be able to log back in. Atlantid 03:08, 6 December 2013 (CET)
Oops I forgot I lost my admin rights, I cannot block myself. You can block me though asap. I've changed my pass though and cannot log back on.
