O. John Rogge

Oetje John Rogge (October 12, 1903 - March 22, 1981) was the chief prosecutor at the Great Sedition Trial of 1944.

Rogge was associated with several Communist organizations and once visited the USSR as Stalin's personal guest.[1]In Moscow he laid a wreath at the grave of American Communist Party co-founder John Reed who is buried in Red Square. He also was the attorney for David Greenglass, who testified against his sister and brother-in-law, atomic spies Ethel and Julius Rosenberg.[2]
