Nikolay Yovev (Bulgarian: Николай Йовев) is a Bulgarian nationalist.


Nikolay Yovev was born on October 10 1989 in the village Mikrevo, Bulgaria.[1]

In 2012, he was together with three other persons detained by the police as suspects in a bombing against an office of the Gypsy anti-Bulgarian party Euroroma in the city Sandanski in which one person died.[1] He spent a year and a half in prison, during which time no evidence was found against him and he was released by the court.

In the elections to the European Parliament in 2014 he was an independent candidate, supported by Nationalist Party of Bulgaria, "National Resistance Bulgaria" and "Blood and Honor Bulgaria".[2] The Central Election Commission did not allow him to participate in the elections.
