I object to the point that articles on "cars" or "bicycles" would be irrelevant. They are European inventions, are they not? Not to mention the huge impact they have on the functioning of modern society. This "too general" rule seems an obstruction to a good encyclopedia. Julius A 08:49, 18 December 2014 (CET)

In some sense everything can be connected to Europe, directly or indirectly. This does not mean that everything is important from a pro-European perspective. Many of the details regarding a particular car are not important from a pro-European perspective. That Europeans invented cars and that this has had a significant impact on modern society is important and this could be mentioned in an article about European inventions. These details about a particular European car are not important from a pro-European perspective: "All Unimog models except for the 404S have a Diesel power plant varying from 25 horsepower (19 kW) to upwards of 280 horsepower (205 kW). Unimogs are available with short wheelbases for tool carrier operations or long wheelbases for all-terrain cargo carrying operations." Upplysning 17:09, 19 December 2014 (CET)
