Louis T. Byers

Louis Temple Byers (July 4, 1931 – October 22, 1981) was an early official of the Willis Carto backed National Youth Alliance. Byers was the NYA leader from 1969 through 1971 until Dr. William Pierce assumed control of the orgnaization.

Byers was once a paid coordinator for the John Birch Society in Pittsburgh.[1] Byers founded the Francis Parker Yockey Society.

In 1968, Byers was a Pennsylvania organizer for the Gov. George C. Wallace campaign when he ran for president on the American Independent Party ticket.

In October 1981 Louis T. Byers died of cancer.
