Harry A. Romer

Harry A. Romer (November 1, 1884 - January 22, 1965) of St. Henry, Ohio was the leader of United Farmers of America. Romer was also an organizer for Father Coughlin’s National Union for Social Justice. Romer ran twice for Vice President of the United States with presidential candidate Reverend Gerald L. K. Smith, once in 1944 on the American First Party ticket and later in 1948 with the Christian Nationalist Party.

Romer was a five-time commander of a local American Legion post and once an American Legion chaplain.
