Fritz Katzmann (1906 – 1957) was an SS officer, who among other positions was SS and Police Leader of Galicia and Danzig-West Prussia.

Accused of various crimes, he after the war assumed a false identity and lived in West Germany until his death.

Katzmann is stated to be the author of the 1943 "Katzmann Report" (original title: "The Solution of the Jewish Question in the District of Galicia"). According the politically correct interpretation, the report used "code words" for concealment. Regarding general revisionist criticisms of "code words", see Meanings and translations of German words and Holocaust revisionism. Regarding specific criticisms of the document and its politically correct interpretation, see the "External links" section.
