Thrall
From Metapedia
Thrall was an early Scandinavian term for a slave (and was possibly applied to serfs): the lowest social class.
In Scandinavian mythology, Thrall was the given name of a coarse young man, the son of a married peasant woman who was impregnated by the god Heimdall, who, in human form, was an overnight houseguest of the lady and her husband. During the same journey, the promiscuous Heimdall is also credited with fathering two more sons, Jarl and Karl, each of whose names were assigned to a different social class.
