Terrorism and Communism
Terrorism and Communism: A Reply to Karl Kautsky, original English title The Defense of Terrorism, is a book by Leon Trotsky. First published in German in 1920, the short book was written against a criticism of the Communist October Revolution titled "Terrorism and Communism", published the previous year by Karl Kautsky. Trotsky dismisses the notion of parliamentary democracy and defends the use of violence against opponents of the Communist revolution by the dictatorship of the proletariat.
