Talk:Legion of the Archangel Michael
From Metapedia
According to liberal historian Neagu Djuvara, Legionary Movement was not a copy of the fascim p.214 (O scurta istorie a romanilor povestita celor tineri): Mai întâi, să nu credeţi, cum spun adversarii Mişcării Legionare, că a fost o copie a nazismului sau a fascismului. Mişcarea Legionară a fost o mişcare autohtonă, născută din grupări studenţeşti anticomuniste.
[edit] Explanation
The short government of the Iron Guard was since 14 September 1940 to 21 January 1941. During this time Romania did not have the administration of Bessarabia, Bukovina or the most part of the Transylvania which means that the Iron Guard was not involved in deportations of the people to Transnistria or to Auschwitz.
[edit] The name of the article
The name is badly translated from romanian. The corect translation would be: "Archangel Michael" Legion. The point is that the legion is not of the...., is just the legion with that particular name. —Whiteman 17:00, 6 January 2008 (CET)
