Simon Wiesenthal (1908 – 2005) was a Jewish "Holocaust survivor" who became famous after World War II for his work as a "Nazi hunter" and as a anti-German writer.

He was awarded a USA Presidential Medal of Freedom and a Congressional Gold Medal, among other awards. The Simon Wiesenthal Center is named after him. However, today he is criticized even by non-Holocaust revisionists. He has also been extensively criticized by Holocaust revisionists. See the "External links" section.
