Peter Afanassieff

Peter Afanassieff (born Petrograd 1893) was a White Guard Russian émigré who arrived in San Francisco in 1922.[1] He and fellow Russian Victor de Kayville published the anti-Jewish paper The American Gentile.

He later took the name Prince Peter Kushubue and Peter V. Armstrong.[2]

Afanassieff was convicted of forging a United States Treasury check and was sentenced to eighteen months in prison.[3]
