National Unity Party

The National Unity Party, also known as the Canadian National Socialist Unity Party and the Parti National Social Chrétien, was a National Socialist party formed in 1934 from the merger of the Christian National Socialist Party and the Canadian Nationalist Party. The group was known colloquially as the Blue Shirts. Its leader was Adrien Arcand. The party was banned in 1940 and Arcand and many of his followers were arrested and detained for the duration of the war.
After the war, the party was apparently unbanned, but apparently ceased to be active shortly before Arcand's death in 1967.
Leftist Wikipedia makes many dubious claims regarding the party and Arcand, often unsourced.
