The National Review (NR) is a conservative / libertarian magazine founded by the William F. Buckley, Jr. in 1955. More recently, there is also an online version, National Review Online.

Especially previously, it was very influential, and Buckley and his editors used the magazine to define the boundaries of conservatism—and to exclude disliked people and ideas, as discussed in the article on William F. Buckley, Jr.
