Porn on Wikipedia and Wikinfo

Wikipedia and Wikinfo both allow pornographic and sexual encyclopaedic articles on their website. Neither is family friendly or Western in this regard. What is the policy of Metapedia on this regard--does it allow for pornography? or is it a family-friendly site?WHEELER 23:50, 4 August 2007 (CEST) Is the site "open policy"?WHEELER 03:35, 5 August 2007 (CEST)

Well I do not for sure, but do not see a need for such things on this site. I would most likely delete such images and articles. -- Doktor Faustus 5 August 2007
I would dedicate myself more here if that was the case. I really don't want to work on any site that has pornographic and sexual stuff. I have been searching for a clean site and for a pro-European site. But I would like to know for sure. Does the founder of Metapedia agree?WHEELER 06:20, 5 August 2007 (CEST)

Greetings from Wikislavia! - we have a link to the Metapedia.

Wikislavia is free online encyclopedia.

It was founded by group of wiki-dissenters, exiled from Russian Wikipedia because of national and POV-persecutions.

Wikislavia has inclusionist policies and it includes not only articles, but also wikisources and learning courses.

The total amount of pages is more than 25 000 and it grows quickly (more than 2000 pages a day). Wikislavia contains pages in many Slavic and Turkic languages, not only Russian. --Yaroslav Zolotaryov 08:02, 29 July 2007 (CEST)

Dutch wikipedia

In the Dutch wikipedia you first have to clik on the Show preview button before you can Save page; making the time to create a lot of articles longer then the time to rollback and delete an article. It might also be a good idea not allowing anyone to create stub articles or image-only-pages except admins. --M.1712

The first idea would not hurt anything I always preview a page before I create the article. But I do not like the second idea, a wiki based site is ment to edited and added to. --Doktor Faustus 5 August 2007 2007

IRC Channel(s)

Are we going to get one so we can better communicate with each other, with perhaps language specific channels in the future. Any thoughts? --Romulasry 00:34, 7 August 2007 (CEST)

My 2 cent

I believe that this project is great ! However I have some suggestions:

pages are too few, unfortunately my english is too lame for contribute directly ! :(

wikipedia have a lot of pages that, once cleaned should be very good.

how about just to clean and copy them ?

"clean and copy" from wikipedia would be a good policy for quickly populate metapedia

also just a little critics: the tagline "encyclopedia about culture, art, science, philosophy and politics." are a little misguiding: I bet that a lot of people, oterwise interested have just skipped the site, because they don't understand what is about. Something like "encyclopedia about culture, art, science, cultural and ethnical heritage" would be more attractive.

I also saw that trolls are a problem. typically the troll subscribe and vandalize a lot of pages before being kicked away. A final weapon against trolls would be a feature like "rollback all the page" in order to destroy all the troll work before kick him away. Also the troll picture it's too nice. Something more offensive should be more appropriate for deter trolls and vandals.

It is alread being done, but do put this code {{Wikipedia}} of end of article with text from wikipedia. Feel free to do more. -Doktor Faustus
We should create a template for articles that are newly copied from PC sources (such as Wikipedia) where the text isn't yet fully de-PC'd. Anyone got an idea for the template text? --Günther 17:57, 17 August 2007 (CEST)

Licensing and other issues

Hello, I like the look of this website and am interested in contributing, however I wonder if someone could clear a few things up. First, how are the pages licensed? Under the GFDL, which would allow copying from Wikipedia? Or public domain? Another question is whether the servers for Metapedia are located in a country with restrictive thought crime laws, which would restrict what could be written, and whether Metapedia could be brought down by legal means. I would look at the Swedish edition to see if there are answers to/discussions on these questions but I don't speak Swedish unfortunately. Hoder 20:09, 8 August 2007 (CEST) There was another thing. I think I can guess the POV of the site's owners, but it is not exactly specific. As on Wikipedia, a specific point of view, or centre of balance, can be pushed by the owner by various means, I was wondering how Metapedia plans to deal with contributors with differing viewpoints on certain issues. Hoder 20:12, 8 August 2007 (CEST)

I have been going under the assumption Metapedia used the GFDL. A good amount of copying from Wikipedia has alread been done. See Metapedia:Help and and Metapedia:GFDL-- Doktor Faustus 8 August 2007

The only active sysop remaining on the French wiki is back and has already destroyed 90% of the work done by Users while he was in holidays.

His attitude empties our metapedia: valuable contributors have gone and, while I was trying to argue with him about that, he gave me no answer and has blocked me indefinitely.

I was the top contributor in August and more than 90% of my edits are still present: I beg any stewart reading this to let me access a meta duplicated without those restrictive policies.

It could be named instead of and, if I'm given sysop rights in F3, I could restore and show that most entries deleted were correct ones. Briling 12:12, 26 September 2007 (CEST)

More than 2 years later this sysop keeps blocking and censuring users without explanations and refusing discussions. He also add a lots of non-neutral articles biased towards extreme right wing, right wing and nationalism and seems to be helped by several other sysops. The template {{noref}} doesn't even exist after three years of existence of, and I couldn't find a single reference to external resources.
This sysop apparenly founded the french metapedia and one of the first arcticles published is this:
La liberté est une faculté d'augmenter son pouvoir, de multiplier ses capacités d'action sur le réel et de conquérir par là une autonomie sur les déterminismes, qu'ils soient génétiques ou sociaux.
Cette définition s'oppose à la conception individualiste et égalitaire de la liberté, qui la considère comme une licence passive, comme une absence de contrainte.
Cette dernière conception de la liberté est en fait à l'exact opposé de la nôtre.

Freedom is a faculty to increase one's power, to multiply one's capacities of action over reality and conquer through it an autonomy over determinisms, be they genetic or social.
This definition is opposed to the individualist and egalitarian conception of freedom, which considers it as a passive license, like an absence of constraint.
This last conception of freedom is in fact the exact opposite of ours.
Clearly not a NPOV.
The community page, which should give the necessary information to the newcomers is blank.
Just right now, I asked this sysop to explain why he blocked a user and deleted his contributions and discussions, and he just blanked my question right away and deleted the traces!
Apparently, any mention of extreme right ("extrême droite") is immediately censored and replaced by "right". And the list of abnormal behavior goes on. I'm just discovering the site. In my opinion this is an attempt of ownership of An investigation should be made about what is happening on the french version. Pronoein 07:03, 27 March 2010 (UTC)

Stop copying from Wikipedia

I find it ok if someone copies articles from wikipedia and corrects them. But I find useless to copy a lot of them into Metapedia (e.g. Pizza or non political/ideological articles). Please stop copying! Bh3u4m 22:54, 30 September 2007 (CEST)

I agree with you that articles like pizza are not suitable for Metapedia since there is no ideological content. However, I see nothing wrong with geographical, historical or political concepts or other social science related topics to be added. For example I added Atlanta, Georgia as an article and noted White flight from the city. I also think an article on Atlanta should be included in Metapedia if there was no White flight. I would like to know from you and others how broad or limited you think articles should be for Metapedia and when should we copy from Wikipedia?NatAll75 00:18, 1 October 2007 (CEST)
I only copy from Wikipedia what I have the time or the inclination to edit. That's why you see me putting up a lot of stubs. I feel it's better to build a new article from a European POV than to copy a multicultural POV Wikipedia article wholesale.Scrivener 05:39, 27 April 2008 (CEST)

Understanding GFDL (GNU Free Documentation License)

I just wanted to check and see if I understand GFDL correctly. The way I understand it, if I copy a GFDL document from, say, Wikipedia, I can publish an altered form of the document so long as the original that I used is available. I have assumed that this means that since articles copied from Wikipedia can be found there in their original form, there is no need for me to first save a Wikipedia version of the document here before editing. Am I correct in this assumption, or should I be making sure an original Wikipedia document shows up in the editing history here? Scrivener 00:32, 2 May 2008 (CEST)

Google censors Metapedia!!!!! (Priority: Very Urgent)

Something must be done to stop Google's censorship of Metapedia articles. I reported something I found on Altermedia on Google page. There are more and more examples of pages whose likelihood to be found on Google is lowered. I suggest to send protest emails to Google. Bh3u4m 19:26, 6 November 2007 (CET)

I think you might be overreacting? Surely wikipedia will naturally have a much higher pagerank by Google than Metapedia, simply by the fact that it is much more linked and well known. That your article would feature higher when it was on wikipedia than it does now on metapedia is similarly very natural.. Just my 2c Frawan 20:34, 6 November 2007 (CET)
No, that's not the point, Frawan, there is evidence of Google censorship. For instance, once metapedia articles were found on google, e.g. when you looked for "Battlecry band" on Goolge, Metapedia's article was 4th, now the other sites you find are still the same, except for Metapedia's article which has disappeared. The same for many other issues reported on Altermedia, Google is hindering searchers to find Metapedia links! We should try to do something to get around the censorship! Bh3u4m 10:18, 7 November 2007 (CET)
I'm noticing this, too. Our Weatherman article was something like #4 last week. Now it's #10, but only if I type in "Weatherman (organization)." If I don't type the exact name, it won't appear. This was not the case last week. Scrivener 05:34, 27 April 2008 (CEST)
I noticed this, too. After I would create a new page, e.g. the page I made for Wotanorden, it would appear about #4 on google. The page for Aryan Culture Preservation even appeared at #1. Many articles enter in the top 10 results then disappear completely or go right down in ranking. Sometimes they come up a little again but mostly not. Is this down to google censorship? Copyrighted material on Metapedia

The question I have is why?

I thought Metapedia was an open encyclopedia where any register user could create and edit articles providing they were not hostile to nationalist aspirations. Now I am finding articles from other web sites and previously published articles which I assume cannot be edited since they are copyrighted.

It is my position that copyrighted material and previously published works should not be substituted for articles on Metapedia. The one exception I have are articles from Wikipedia which can be used and modified, provided the proper citation is given.NatAll75 16:57, 8 December 2007 (CET)

According to U.S. law using parts of copyrighted pages from other sites should be OK if they are not too long, their source is mentioned and they are used for educational/research purposes (it appears that the same logic is used on JewWatch). Those articles are on the average better than wikipedia copied articles, provide interesting information for Nationalists and are not just a list of facts. We should insist in collaborating with Western Voices World News, Novopress and Altermedia to share such information. Bh3u4m 00:20, 10 December 2007 (CET)

Metapedia rankings

Here is some information I found on Metapedia rankings for May. [2]

It is interesting to note that a lot of females have been visiting Metapedia. I think this is due to the popularity of the article Stanley Ann Dunham, Barack Obama’s mom. The article was receiving about 150 views a day but has declined since the Presidential primaries have ended. Several Obama related articles continue to be popular and are moving into the top ten in ranking. NatAll75 12:09, 21 June 2008 (CEST)

Brazen censur on jewtube

On one may enter comments for most films. If a comment contains string, that comment will NOT be added to the comments. Anybody met this kind of brazen censur?

Math Tags

I would like to add some science articles, but unfortunately the <math> tags don't seem to be working. I don't really know how it works, but it may simply require one of the administrators to set $wgUseTeX = true; in the LocalSettings.php. See --NHügel 15:36, 27 May 2009 (CEST)

These settings can be made only by the Swedish Metapedia's Directors who have acces to the server. This is what I know. Dadas 17:02, 27 May 2009 (CEST)
Thanks for the tip. I sent an e-mail to [] a couple of weeks ago but have not heard back. I have looked a bit more at the MediaWiki website (see the icon in the lower right corner of your screen), and it appears that enabling the <math> tags might be somewhat involved. In the meantime, I am trying to make due with HTML. Unfortunately, writing even simple equations in HTML is quite complicated and the result just doesn't look very good. Not having access to the <math> tags means that is difficult or even impossible to write articles that require equations, which is really unfortunate because some the greatest contributions of the European peoples have been to Mathematics and Physics. Hopefully the tags will eventually be enabled.--NHügel 20:03, 12 June 2009 (CEST)

metapedia abuses new users

I was A Wyatt Man. I got banned for "only uploads images". Every single one of your articles is locked from editing? Uploading images is the only way I can contribute. And you banned me without even giving me a chance to talk.

I am probably the only new user here that came for a month that tried to help you out, the rest have just vandalized, and I got abused for trying to help you out. No wonder all you get are vandals when you treat people like this.

You came today, 20 minutes after WhiteWarrior, a troll,

Not a month, and you started just to upload pictures, that are not encyclopedic. So what? Hu1 :11:24, 11 June 2009 (CEST)

I spent a half hour of work on your site and one of your sadistic admins just deletes it all in a second.

Those pictures are nice on a dedicated page, but are not really illustrations for an encyclopedia. That's the reason.Hu1 11:11, 11 June 2009 (CEST) (A sadistic admin)
Any ideas where they can be used? A Wyatt Man 03:33, 21 June 2009 (CEST)
As I said: On a dedicated page for Humour about and with Jews; If you can write such an article, then even in an encyclopedia. But simply pictures only without explanation is un-encyclopedic. Hu1 11:00, 21 June 2009 (CEST)

One of the main vandals here is a guy called Grawp/JarlaxleArtemis/Jeremy Hanson

Now ever since the article came out, lots of vandals have come to this site. Though one of the ones doing the most is a person who goes by the persona Grawp. He used to go by JarlaxleArtemis and he doesn't like people knowing his old persona because then they know he's Jewish. He's been a plague on Wikipedia and about every other wiki as well.

Wikipedia used to have lots of information on him, but eventually removed it because it was acting as a shrine. Here's two copies of Wikipedi'a Long Term abuse page from scraper sites and here's one of his original Wikipedia userpage

Here's two articles on him and

Okay now looking at the block log, it's pretty easy to tell how much he does it. He'll do things like (1) Using the word "HAGGER" or "GRAWP" (2) Talking about the size of his genitals (3) Making lots of accounts that are insults to people he doesn't like. You can see these all in the block log where he makes usernames insulting them. These are usually administrators from Wikipedia and other websites that have reverted his vandalism and he often will do the same people over and over. (4) Mass amounts of usernames in a row with all caps and lots of "!!!!" and "???" (5) Making accounts with funny characters like the ones with ☭ in the block log. He'll also make names with characters like & so you have trouble blocking them. (6) Just lots of insulting usernames in a row really fast. (7) Usernames insulting and challenging the sysops.

The whole block log from "15:32, 12 July 2008" through "15:13, 1 April 2009" is all or 99% him. I want to point out this was even before the article. After that about 70% of the names on the block log are him. Anyone here ever been to Wikipedia or worked fighting vandalism there should be able to recognize the accounts.

Now on I see you don't even have the CheckUser extension installed. Well you should. I can tell you more on how to track this guy's accounts if you did.

Grawp/JarlaxleArtemis/Jeremy Hanson usually uses the IP range and rarely But once you block it, he'll come back on proxies, but eventually he'll run out of proxies.

Grawp/JarlaxleArtemis/Jeremy Hanson is a crazy guy because his first, middle, and last name are known. So is his address and phone number. The Wikimedia Foundation (runs Wikipedia) has called his mom who this Jew lives with and complained a lot, but still this guy keeps vandalizing wikis all over the place.

Oh and besides blocking his IP range which would deter him, you also need to upgrade to the latest mediawiki software version (which has more antivandalism stuff) and install the CheckUser extension. A Wyatt Man 03:30, 21 June 2009 (CEST)

Blocking IP ranges is unpracticable. Providers use typically IP ranges, and if we blocked a range, all users of that provider would be blocked. Hu1 11:03, 21 June 2009 (CEST)

Metapedia purpose and alternative views

I want to ask you all, now metapedia is supposed to be about alternative views and such. Does this include alternative views from the norm about things like government conspiracies? If so, work needs to be done.

JFK's article -- well, not much is devoted to conspiracy theories on this. It appears to mostly be copied from Wikipedia.

9/11 stuff -- appears to mostly be from Wikipedia again. All the alternative theories are in a separate article from the main one. If I understand metapedia right, then I'd think it should completely deny the standard view and give the various conspiracy theories, correct?

alien stuff -- nothing about area 51, aliens, and UFOs that I can find except two small excepts in 1947 and July 2, both of them only mention the Roswell crash and both say things like "allegedly" and "object speculated to be a UFO", which is sort of the standard viewpoint and not an alternative one, which would probably include all the conspiracy info.

Now this site has lots on WWII and so I was looking for Nazi Mysticism and Nazi UFOs and all I found was another thing that looked like a copy from Wikipedia . This is where Miguel Serrano more or less is just parroting the same stuff 19th century channelers came up with and has been repeated in new age circles, and it's basically a quote of the guy mixed in a long article. So well there's a second mention of alien stuff, but again it's just the same stuff Wikipedia would have and no alternative viewpoints on any of this.

A Wyatt Man 09:03, 21 June 2009 (CEST)

Feel free to write good, beliavable and fact proven articles about government conspiracy. Metapedia is a national oriented encyclopedia, therefore all subject to save and conserve nations and the race are welcome. Hu1 11:06, 21 June 2009 (CEST)

Wanted pages

Metapedia wanted pages (special pages/wanted pages) shows up 54 269 pages. However, when I search for example for Georges Clemanceau, no page refers to that name. How happened, that the wanted pages reached that enormous amount?

Normally wanted pages are referenced pages (from other pages). that do not exist. In the English Metapedia this seems to be not the case. Hu1 10:40, 25 June 2009 (CEST)

The high ranking of wanted pages are the total of red linked topics that have not been written. In the past I have used it as a guide for articles that need to be written. You are correct these are pages that do not exist. Often they come from red links from year articles (example 1905) that have been copied from Wikipedia. NatAll75 11:11, 25 June 2009 (CEST)

Yes, at the second sight I see, these links really exist. I found Georges Clemanceau, and others, Thanks. Hu1 13:19, 25 June 2009 (CEST)

Pages to be deleted

Where to enter pages, I'd like to have deleted?

One candidate:

IMHO complete nonsense.

Pages with & in the name

There are both pictures and pages with & in their name. These are not usable. examples:

  • B&H.jpg
  • Heckler & Koch G36

(also other pages with the name "Heckler") Maybe chief system administrators could delete them.

The troll of today

From the log clear, that this troll used some automatic tool to create those users. It is impossible to enter manually that fast. We would need some graphic login check, when the user has to enter some check characters; that would eliminate such trolls. Bolshevik wikipedia has soch login today.

Estonian Metapedia setup not yet perfect

In Estonian Metapedia if on the main page we add: en:MainPage, we do not get a link to the English metapedia section, as expected.

We also can not upload images.

I assume, this is a general setup problem; could anybody knowledgeable (ideally an administrator) help us, please? Thanks, Hu1 11:12, 9 October 2009 (CEST)

I do appreciate the work the administrators have done! But there are some problems that need to be fixed!

First: The language links are not working! We have about 1400 articles (7th largest Metapedia) and we still have no language links! Beside the Island Metapedia (79 articles) all Metapedias have language links! Where is the problem? Can somebody pleas explain!

Second: The editing tools are not working! It would be much easier if you don’t have to drag or copy things all the time. - XM 06:54, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Page protection

When protecting pages, please do not forget to protect "edit" (left box), setting "Sysops only". Otherwise trolls can still edit unproperly protected pages. Thanks. Hu1 09:56, 19 October 2009 (CEST)

Yes, Thanks for taking care of the trolls this morning. - NatAll75 11:58, 19 October 2009 (CEST)

Main Page asymmetric

If there are somewhere long urls, like: [3] the main page gets asymmetric, giving more room for the side containing the long url. Has anybody a solution for this? Hu1 11:37, 14 November 2009 (CET)

Removal of Blazingproducts from the List of Nationalist Record Labels

The company wishes to be removed from the list, since they are not nationalistic, but paganic. They got problems with antifa and other organizations. Is it ok to remove them from the list? Hu1 17:42, 28 November 2009 (CET)

I see no problem with removing them. Not all pagans are racial nationalists. NatAll75 17:53, 28 November 2009 (CET)

Thanks, removed. Hu1 20:24, 28 November 2009 (CET)

The Writer -C.S. Scriblerius‎

The article seems to be senseless; I'd like to delete it. Opinions? Hu1 10:21, 2 December 2009 (CET)

I agree, I favor deleting it. NatAll75 15:30, 2 December 2009 (CET)

Thanks for both opinions. Deleted (also talk page of it). Hu1 16:15, 2 December 2009 (CET)

The upload directory (/var/www/vhosts/metapedia/en/w/images) is not writable by the webserver. Hu1 03:01, 8 December 2009 (CST)

Further nonsense

The above articles seems to be the same class, as scriblerius. Anybody objects to delete them? Hu1 05:50, 8 December 2009 (CST)

I think they should be deleted, but I would wait until others vote on the articles. 17:32, 8 December 2009 (CST)
On second thought, we should look at them individually. Some we might keep. I would still like others to make comments on them. NatAll75 17:37, 8 December 2009 (CST)

OK. I added a page Metapedia:Pages to be deleted where I also listed them. Hopefully some others also read them. Some of the stuff is on the web, also in wikipedia, however, I suspect, this is a series of hoax. Hu1 02:25, 9 December 2009 (CST)

Also the articles of User:Misterscriblerius seem to be the same class. Hu1 06:08, 8 December 2009 (CST)

Doc Nixon

I'd like to delete the page Doc Nixon. There is very little about this person in the web, and he seems to be not worth the effort to add him to metapedia. The old page and the links are pure crap. Objections? Hu1 10:22, 30 December 2009 (CST)

No objections here. CHM8318

Today attack (16. February, 2010)

I have reported it:

If both proper login names were controlled, and also automatic logins inhibited, then such intrusions were not possible, or at least not that simple, as they are today. Cleanup took about 40 minutes. Hu1 06:13, 16 February 2010 (CST)

Thanks for taking care of this problem. Perhaps now limiting the login names will be fixed.

Wikimedia Commons

I asked NatAll75 about this but he said he wasn't sure on the technical side. But there is a way that we can directly imbed Wikimedia Commons hosted images on Metapedia without having to re-upload them onto this server. It is detailed here how to, but I think the owners of Metapedia, or whoever has access to the database would have to do it. This would be a huge improvement IMO. - Basileus 02:22, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

I forwarded your suggestion to [4], which is the forum for metapedia administrators. They also think, this is an improvement, and are looking for a good way to realize it. Thank you for your suggestion. Hu1 19:27, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

Collapsing navigation box

Does anybody know the code to set this up properly? With the "show", "hide" function in the nav bar. I tried to copy the one used on Conservapedia but, it simply doesn't work. Original and On Here. This function is desparately needed on here. - Basileus 18:41, 14 June 2010 (UTC)

Unfortunately, I can not say, why this or that table does not work, as is. However, each table can be converted into a plain old fashioned table, as described in Table Help, (also here the same:Help:Table) and if one converts a table with lot of patience into a plain table, that would work. I did that for Nikola Tesla table, for example, and can do that automatically for other similar ones. Your table seems to contain embedded tables, with that I have no practice yet. Hu1 07:59, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
Ah. No I mean a navigation box which goes at the bottom of the page, with a hide-or show function. Like on Wikipedia and elsewhere. A bar containing links to other related Metapedia pages. For an infobox, which you mean, Template:Infobox political party is quite good to copy. - Basileus 08:12, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
Ok, thanks for the explanation. I can not see any other difference between Original and On Here than the quality of tables, which is nicer on the original. Do I oversee the essence of your message? Hu1 08:29, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
On the right hand side of the original. It says [show] and if you press it, the box extends to reveald the information and it changes to [hide]. This is generally needed for nav-boxes with a lot of information in them. - Basileus 09:29, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
[6] talks about this hide/show feature. It is in javascript. Probably we need to install it [7]. It is also possible, only metapedia admins can do that, Not sure. Hu1 09:44, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
I see now works. What is the secret? How did you fix it? Thanks Hu1 15:27, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
Its not entirely fixed, but its better. I edited MediaWiki:Common.js. - Basileus 23:35, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
Thanks. I copied MediaWiki:Common.js onto Hungarian metapedia, and it works there. Hu1 18:21, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

How an infobox can be put to the right

example is Afar put before infobox: {| border="0" cell-spacing="0" width="280" align="right" | and in the next line: | align="right" |

and after the infobox: |} No need to touch anything else. Hu1 10:24, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

In the mean time I copied javascript file common.js into MediaWiki namespace (from en.wikipedia) and that fixed the problem without adding code. It also did some other corrections, like adding an image to PDF file's name, and the like. Hu1 08:06, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

Adding separate group notes

Does anybody know how to set this up? At present when we try it come up with "cite error 3". I have read somewhere that you have to put "$wgAllowCiteGroups = true" into the LocalSettings.php, but I have no idea where that would be. May only be visible to site owners. - Basileus 02:58, 27 June 2010 (UTC)

here [8] is described the cite extension. The $wg... variables are set by mediawiki administration (site owners) and not by local administration. Hu1 06:40, 27 June 2010 (UTC)

Computer-related articles

Do you think computer-related articles would fall within the bounds of "culture, art, science, philosophy and politics?" Maybe science? I'm fairly knowledgeable about various computer-related disciplines, but I don't want to create anything before making sure it falls within the bounds of the site. (By the way, I chose your talk page since you welcomed me, so if I'm directing this to the wrong person, let me know). Thanks! Tyler Zoran Talk 14:52, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

My suggestion is category "Informatics" and below that than "Computing languages", "Communication" and others. I would not worry too much about the categories, just add your articles, I am sure, they will be finally properly categorized. Hu1 15:35, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Images with "&" or '"' in name

I renamed all such images, because my protection program could not handle such images properly. It would be great, if new images would avoid "&" and also '"' in their name. Thanks. Hu1 08:22, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

Metapedia gadgets

There are metapedia gadgets available from the German metapedia for windows vista and windows 7 in all used languages. They are useful to get into metapedia on an easy way from the windows screen. If anybody is interested, I can email to him the gadgets. Hu1 09:07, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

Uploaded missing templates

If anybody wonders, why so many Hu1 actions today: I uploaded about 200 missing templates and the images that belong to them. I will check the still missing ones, most of them is usually erroneous name and the like. They are mostly really missing even from bolshevikipedia. Hu1 22:04, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

OK, thanks for taking care of that - NatAll75 23:57, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

Images in wikipedia articles

There is no need to modify wikipedia articles and delete the images. Metapedia looks better with images. I can upload them using the list of wanted images fully automatically. If anybody is interested, how to, and can use perl scripts, I can send the perl script in a private email. Hu1 11:32, 22 September 2010 (UTC)

I also use a script, that protects all uploaded images; I let it run at least once a week. Hu1 08:07, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

Article on White Argentinians

Hi, I'm new here; I have an article almost finished about the White population of Argentina. Their demographic importance, and their influence on Argentine culture, music, sports, their presence in the mass media, etc.

It is well referenced, for I was editing it in Wikipedia, but some users started accusing it of Original research, and placed a template on it. As in the article I wrote lists of notable White Argentines -I was careful to include only Argentinians with unmistakeable Caucasian phenotype- then they also accused it of violation of Biographies of Living People policy (Is that policy applied here?); they said that unless a reliable source stated explicitly that "Juan Pérez is a White Argentine", the names must be removed from the article. Now I abandoned the article in WP; they are tearing it to pieces, erasing photos, maps, etc.

If the idea is well accepted here, I can add articles on the other White communities scattered around the world: White American, White Canadian, White Brazilian, White South African, White Australian, etc. Ah, one more thing: in the article I consider all the European/Caucasus ethnic groups residing in Argentina all together, but I also consider the Arabs and Ashkenazi Jews as "Whites". Is that against the policy of this site? If it is so, please forgive me.

I also want to add that I am not racist in any way, but this is a moment in which all of us Argentinians who are proud of our European ancestry are forced to hide it so not to be called "racists".--Parmeggiani 01:14, 13 November 2010 (UTC)

Welcome to the project. That sounds fine for the most part, feel free to go ahead and experiment with such an article. We generally do not consider Jews, Ashkenazi or otherwise, as part of the European peoples. I realise with the Arabs in South America there are a lot of borderline cases (ie - the fleeing Palestinian, Lebanese & Syrian Christian seem to have a significant amount of Crusader descent). You'd have to take it on a case by case basis. - Basileus 08:20, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
I also think, Jews should be somehow handled separated and clearly should be illustrated, that they are non whites. (and can not be handled together with any other race, especially not with whites). Arabs and Turks are browns, and by no means whites.
There is one wikipedia called wikinfo, [9] that supports and allows original research. It is not connected with wikipedia on any way.
You are welcome to copy the articles in the subject, you are interested in from wikipedia. Unfortunately, there is some incompatibility between wikipedia ane metapedia, even though we use the same software and the same version; Metapedia is somewhat allergic to errors in html tags, and quits errors with badly shown pages or by not showing them at all. We also do not have checking capabilities in templates (I assume we would need some unidentified and not yet installed software), therefore some templates need to be rewritten in metapedia, like for example convert. Hu1 20:08, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
As far as I know, policies are much more relaxed here than in wikipedia. We do accept living persons biographies, photos, and also original research, we are not so picky about sources, if the information is plausible and consistent, and if it is compatible to our mission. Hu1 21:21, 18 November 2010 (UTC)

There is something wrong with this and I'm not sure what (been tryin to fix it). When you log out of Metapedia the references don't show up in the articles (only when logged in it shows up). Take Leonard Zeskind article for example. I also think this problem might be effecting our hits/ranking on Google. - Basileus 15:57, 18 December 2010 (UTC)

This is a known and reported problem. In fact, I think not template:reflist is the reason. Why? template:reflist is only a wrap around <references/>; I think, the <references/> mechanism is broken for some reason here. German metapedia does not have the problem, Hungarian has it also. Hu1 16:25, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
Do you have a link for the equivelent of Template:References on the German Metapedia? I don't know German. We should try the code they use and see if it works. The Spanish Metapedia has this problem too. - Basileus 20:26, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
They do not have a template for it, they just insert <references />. The Swedes ignore everything. The only solution is to make a spin-off of Metapedia, I do not have hope anymore. --DasGewisseEtwas 20:35, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
I tried deleting the templates but this didn't work either. I think I'll just create a manual alternative for references, where the links are provided in an organised and numbered way at the bottom to correspond with ref numbers in the articles. Yes, I don't think I've ever seen the owners all the time I've been here. However they deserve credit for creating the project. In the long term, it might be best if an American based group bought this (a la Stormfront) since the EU have a totalitarian habit of shutting down and attacking any attempt to present non-bias historical information (though Sweden is better than most for freedom of thought). - Basileus 20:49, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
On the other side the United States are one of the worst violators of human rights, torture and murdering of dissidents is not seldom, especially if someone is really dangerous (what we want to be). Something in Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Azerbaidzhan, Turkmenistan etc., not puppet state Kyrgyz Republic) or Southeast Asia (like Hongkong, Singapure or Japan) would work better in long-term means, I guess. Hiding either in secluded semi-desert or in vast megacities. --DasGewisseEtwas 21:23, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
Yes, I also think, some replacement on critical pages would be good, if you know, what causes lower ranking on Google.
I am also happy, that this lexicon exists at all, and I think, it is important to have national and conservative information available, as opposite to the bolshevistic, liberalistic, pinko wikipedia, which is a big collection of lies, mixed with interesting information. Hu1 21:37, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
Here Is the issue, from 2009 April, still not a single answer. I think, this problem is too marginal for them, however, you could sign up, and also write some words, an explanation, why the solution would be useful for the whole metapedia project. It would for sure no harm at all, if you wrote some words to it.
One who is bound by the truth does not need words like “conservative”. You may describe it only by the word “truth”. “Regressive-Conservative-Progressive” is only an optical problem because it is bottomless. One is progressive there and conservative here. “Nationalistic” is an adjective with a graded scale, “Regressive”/“Progressive” not, because its meaning is not only for describing one matter, but one can describe many behaviors in various topics as regressive, conservative or progressive (so that you have always an other position within the scale), but only “habitat politics” with “nationalistic” or not.
Debatting about optical problems only helps the Jews, just think about how much time was spent debating about black-white categories like “left-right” instead of doing things which are really valuable. It only helps to split the folks who came on the truth because they try to simplify all and because they fight against each other because of definitions. --DasGewisseEtwas 22:30, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
I agree with you. Left and right is Jewish word-usage, has no meaning. Hu1 23:13, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
Also Swedish metapedia does not show the problem. Therefore the "problem" exists only, if one can register as a user online, and it does not exist, if one can not register as a user online. For me now the problem is a feature. Hu1 10:24, 24 December 2010 (UTC)

No page change possible

Today, 22. December, 2010 betweeen 17-22 hours (MET) I could not modify any page on metapedia. System always replied: "Problem, Re-try or logout" I logged out, but the problem persisted. About at 22:00 I registrated myself as user Grog, and then the problem disappeared. I had the same problem on the Hungarian Metapedia. RSS data shows, that there was no modification on Metapedia between 17..22 hours today on English, Hungarian, German and Spanish metapedias. Did anybody else also see the problem? --Hu1, 00:04, 23 December 2010 (GMT+1)

More views

Alexa Metapedia Januar 2011.jpg As you can see, the more subjects are handled, the more visitors come. Of course, quality does matter. Hu1 12:05, 11 January 2011 (UTC)

Copying from Wikipedia does not help quality to establish. The reason is especially that nobody wants to write for mirror servers. Would Encyclopædia Britannica or Americana have any reputation if they copied from Wikipedia? No. Some people say, Wikipedia texts are also good sometimes. But why does Encyclopædia Britannica or Americana not copy from Wikipedia at all? Yes, Americana based on the Brockhaus, but this can’t be compared with wikis. Authors appear in another way there. Secondly, Americana based only at the beginning on the Brockhaus, and as projects grow, they are more self employed. Somewhen it is like you want a midget to wear a giant’s shoe. For me, somewhen has been in the past yet. --DasGewisseEtwas 17:42, 11 January 2011 (UTC)

Edge data remains the same if in wikipedia or elsewhere (birth date, schools, studies, work, achievments). The secret is the presentation. Nice images, maps, good explanations. And then quality and also quantity matters. Hu1 20:33, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
Yes, the edge data remains mostly the same, but it is underestimated, how edge data and other data can be and is presentated. Wikipedia is designed to make propaganda for the system and you cannot work with the system to destroy it, just as elections especially here in the Unfederal Republic of Germanistan do not work. How unacceptable even the, at first view unsuspicious, introductions are, shows my recent rewriting regarding Freemasonry as bad example – there are even the most subtile manipulations only one who deals with rhetoric and linguistics picks out.
But that is not the point: We are not an add-on of Wikipedia, but want to be a complete replacement. Metapedia exists, because Wikipedia and the texts fused with it can’t be changed. It is ruinous for the fighting animus to betray the own principles which serve the aims the animus fights for. --DasGewisseEtwas 21:31, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
Yes, wikipedia can not be changed from inside, because it is managed and administered prevailingly by jews and their lackeys. Sad but true. However, their work, better what is usable of it, can and should be used for better projects, with future, like metapedia. Hu1 22:06, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
just as elections especially here in the Unfederal Republic of Germanistan do not work. Well, as soon as you have a practical proof for that, I'll consider that. At present the situation looks very differently. National parties get 1-2%, while system parties get 60-70%. :-( Hu1 22:14, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
