Mahmoud Abbas

Mahmoud Abbas (born 26 March 1936) is the President of the State of Palestine and the Palestinian National Authority. He was elected in 2005 in an election boycotted by Hamas and there have been no new elections since.

He is also the current Chairman of the PLO and a member of Fatah.
