Lazar Moiseyevich Kaganovich

Lazar Moiseyevich Kaganovich (November 22, 1893 – July 25, 1991) was a Jewish communist and one of the greatest mass-murderers in recorded history. As Stalin's chief henchman, he ordered the deaths of millions of Europeans and the wholesale destruction of Christian monuments and churches, including the great Cathedral of Christ the Savior. Standing amid the rubble of the cathedral, Kaganovich proclaimed, "Mother Russia is cast down. We have ripped away her skirts."[1]
