Kenneth Kyle (Ca. 1964) is a Marxist pedophile, who worked as Assistant Professor at California State University-East Bay, East Bay. He was arrested for raping a 13-month-old girl in March 2010.

Academic Career

Kyle hold a Ph.D. in Justice Studies (interdisciplinary program in law and the social sciences) and an M.A. in Political Science from Arizona State University (ASU). He was program coordinator for ASU's International Student Office. He was a tenured Associate Professor of Sociology at Penn State University, Harrisburg. He was coordinator of the Louisiana State University (LSU) International Cultural Center, and was acting assistant director of LSU's International Student Office. He has also taught English as a foreign language in Asia.

While there, he taught and conducted research in the social sciences and in the community psychology areas. Outside of the university classroom, Dr. Kyle has experience as a teacher overseas and as a university administrator. He served as coordinator of the Louisiana State University (LSU) International Cultural Center, as acting assistant director of LSU's International Student Office, and as program coordinator of ASU's International Student Office. In addition, he taught English as a foreign language in Asia before beginning his academic career.

Kyle teaches and conducted research in the social sciences and in the community psychology areas, revolving around the application of critical theories such as Critical Literary Theory, Feminism, Frankfurt School, Critical Theory, and Marxism to specific social problems and public policy.

Kyle is the editor of Social Problems Forum: The SSSP Newsletter-the official newsletter of the Society for the Study of Social Problems (SSSP); prior to taking on this he served as chair of the SSSP's Crime and Juvenile Delinquency division and its Educational Problems division.

Publications

He has published in academic journals such as Social Justice to Humanity & Society and the Journal of Primary Preventions. He is the author of Contextualizing Homelessness: Critical Theory, Homelessness, and Federal Policy Addressing the Homeless (2005, Routledge).

Arrest

Kenneth Kyle and Tessa Van Vlerah, 20, from Missouri were arrested for allegedly raping and sodomizing a 13-month-old girl and taking pictures of the acts. He is facing multiple felony charges; statutory rape in the first degree, first degree statutory sodomy and promoting child pornography in the first degree. Kyle was arrested Monday the 23 of March 2010 at San Francisco International Airport, after returning from Europe. Kyle made several trips to St. Louis over the past year to visit Van Vlerah. They would allegedly go to near by motels and engage in sex acts with the baby. This started when the baby was just five months old.
