Helmut Oberlander (born 15 February 1924 in Ukraine) is a former Canadian citizen and a former member of the Einsatzgruppen.

His duties in the Einsatzgruppen (to which he was conscripted) included listening to and translating Russian radio transmissions, acting as an interpreter during interactions between the military and the local population, the guarding of military supplies, and polishing boots. In 2000, Judge Andrew MacKay reported his findings: he concluded that there is no evidence that Oberlander was involved, directly or indirectly, in committing any war crimes or any crimes against humanity.

Despite this, starting in 1994, there has been a several decades long series of legal attempts to strip him of his Canadian citizenship, finally succeeding after 25 years in 2019, clearing the way for his deportation to Germany.
