Encyclopædia Britannica Eleventh Edition

The Encyclopædia Britannica Eleventh Edition (1911) is the most famous edition of the Encyclopædia Britannica. Many of its articles were written by well known scholars. Project Gutenberg is making an electronic version which be freely available from Project Gutenberg when finished. Two websites have it available unproofread and without the illustrations.
