Chesa Boudin

Chesa Boudin is a Jewish American Rhodes Scholar the biological son of Weatherman terrorists Kathy Boudin and David Gilbert. His name is from the Swahili for "dancing feet." When Chesa was still an infant, both of his parents were sentenced to prison pursuant to their roles in the 1981 murders of Edward O'Grady, Waverly Brown, and Peter Paige. Custody of Chesa was given to fellow unrepentant Weathermen, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn who raised him with their own children.
Chesa appears to have embraced the radical left-wing ideology of his parents and guardians. In his own words Chesa declares that, "[w]e have a different name for the war we're fighting now—now we call it the war on terrorism, then they called it the war on communism. My parents were all dedicated to fighting U.S. imperialism around the world. I'm dedicated to the same thing."[1]
