Second Viennese School

The Second Viennese School is s group of composers that consisted of the Jewish Arnold Schoenberg and his pupils and close associates, in early 20th century Vienna. It is associated with atonal music, which National Socialist Germany classified as one form of degenerate art.

Theodore Adorno, an important Cultural Marxist, had links to it.
